Myself as a Reader

Peerapat James Vijitwong
G12-2 Aug, 20

When I was grade 1, now still remember that I constantly listened my mom stories before I slept, I would be very pleased. I have liked to read the story in Thai very much while I have hated to read in English because I every times failed in English class. My first Thai story is “Three Pig” because of my mom. I felt in that charming stories so much. Until I was grade 2, I tried to find those interesting stories in the library and being concentrated with them during came back school and at home.

I remind that day I’d got interesting and hard story in Thai Language, just knew little superficial vocabularies, it was very stuck on me but I didn’t ever ask these my problems with others and continued reading Thai books and text books until I was grade 4, Thai language was very common with me. I know that reason why I could understand with Thai Language, first reason is I spent much times to read only Thai books. Second is I was surrounded with Thai society. Third is whatever I very often do it. Consequently, I’m use to with these.

Now I am studying in RIST. I intently wish to get and improve more English there and to become a priest in Japan in the future without entering into University. I knew about my vocation very well before I came here so I don’t expect so much about my degree and with high score in graduating. If this dream comes true, I would be in Japan and preaching convert people into Roman Catholic

Write about choosing your book.

I have chosen the mystery story, "One-Eyed-Cat". At first, I'd got two books in my mind and both of them were very interesting,named"One-Eyed-Cat" and "The last Dog in the World". Then I tried to read them by couple pages. The last Dog in the World is about all organisms were inflected with the terrible disease and the main characters are an honor dog and the young boy running away that harm, they must be alive and find out living people they expected. I thought this story is a such interesting story that I can't help wanting to continue reading but it is too much pages. In term of "One-Eyed-Cat", I read in couple pages, I saw the short details on the back of that book, I'm very pleased because of very challenge me.
